White Mountaineering explores a new way of living for FW22

White Mountaineering, the brainchild of Yosuke Aizawa, has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, an expanded offering that reflects the specific times we live in now.

The Japanese brand, known for blending the performance demands of the outdoor industry with the aesthetics of the fashion world, has focused on an emphasis on craftsmanship for the seasonal range. Accordingly, FW22 offers a range of industrial and outdoor elements suitable for everyday use.

Designed for both the city and the mountains, the FW22 draws inspiration from established outerwear of the 80s and 90s. Capes, collarless coats, bombers and peach vests are dressed in the typical set of neutral tones of brand, alongside monochromatic looks and an updated take on the brand’s red and black plaid print. In terms of materials, the seasonal range offers functional materials with unique properties, such as down jackets in flame-retardant nylon or suit jackets lined in Gore-Tex.

Once again, the capsule not only offers the wearing of a new way of life, but its adaptability and functionality allow it to move effortlessly between the outdoors and rural areas.
