Crossing, hiking challenge and new Cubmaster • Orange Town News

Pack 922 has been busy for the past few months. March 27and we held our blue and gold banquet where we watched the light spire scouts crossover with the scout troops in Milford and Woodbridge. We also celebrated our young Scouts earning their rank badges and continuing their journey as Cub Scouts. As the peloton advances, our leadership also advances. Our longtime cubmaster, Brian Cleveland, will step down as his son moves to scouts. Brian will still be a Lair Leader in the pack for next year as he brings our new Arrow of Light scouts to the end of their time with Pack 922. Jessica Zamachaj, a current Lair Leader, will step in and take over the role of Cubmaster at the end of the school year.

From April 9and, Pack 922 began this year’s Sky’s the Limit hiking challenge with a trip to West Rock’s Wintergreen Lake trails. We continued our outdoor journey at Sleeping Giant on April 22n/a. The pack will offer all 20 rides to scouts throughout the summer and fall in hopes that they can receive the DEEP Medallion.
