A man attacked a woman with stones and raped her near a hiking trail: DA

MEDFORD, MA – A Medford man was arrested for attacking a woman with a stone and raping her near a local hiking trail on Friday morning.

Brady McCue, 28, assaulted a 48-year-old woman who was walking near the Leslie Road trailhead on the Medford / Winchester line on the Middlesex Fells Reservation around 8 a.m., the district attorney’s office said. Middlesex in a statement Friday night.

McCue is accused of hitting the woman with a stone several times before sexually assaulting her.

Investigators identified McCue after collecting evidence at the scene. He was arrested at his home.

McCue was charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily harm, kidnapping and four counts of aggravated rape in connection.

The victim did not know McCue. She is in stable condition but suffers from serious injuries.
